The Lost Villages Historical Society & Museum

Lost Villages Historical Society was formed in 1977 to preserve the History of the Villages and Hamlets lost by the flooding caused by the creation of the St Lawrence Seaway project in the mid 1950’s.

Today we have a museum located at Ault Park, Long Sault, ON.

Visit the Museum During June – September

Book one our Bus Tours “Through the Lands of the almost Villages” at our web-store or at the Museum.  Three tours available this season $45 includes tour and meal.

Drop by our General Store to sign our guest book, meet our friendly staff, choose from a large selection of books written by local authors, pick up a souvenir of your visit or a light refreshment.

Admission is Free but donations are gratefully appreciated by the Historical Society.
