Thank You, Eric Duncan and the SSCC Members who attended our March Meeting.
The South Stormont Chamber of Commerce would like to extend our gratitude to Member of Parliament for Stormont-Dundas-South Glengarry, Eric Duncan, for his recent visit with the South Stormont Chamber of Commerce. We truly appreciate his insights into the economic challenges facing our local businesses, the federal services available, and the critical issues surrounding the unjust tariff threats from the United States. His informative responses and explanations regarding the impact of the changing economic environment were appreciated by all the chamber members who attended.
We would also like to thank the Long Sault Legion Royal Canadian Legion Branch 569 for graciously hosting our meeting at their location. Your support helps foster community engagement!
Thanks and photo credits are in order for Shawna O’Neill, Multimedia Journalist with the Cornwall Standard-Freeholder who attended the meeting. We encourage you to have a look at her piece in the March 20th edition of the Freeholder for additional information.
A special shoutout to all the chamber members who attended and actively participated during the meeting. Your engagement with our guest speaker and with one another is what makes our chamber strong and united.
